WIN statement for World Refugee Day

20 Jun 2018

Women's Interfaith Network (WIN) is extremely troubled by the harsh and inhumane treatment of those fleeing war, torture and oppression. We believe all people and nations should treat immigrants, alongside minority ethnic and religious communities, with the utmost dignity and compassion.

Members of WIN come from numerous faiths and cultures, but are united in their desire to celebrate the differences and learn from the similarities in their experiences and backgrounds.

We call upon all nations to extend equal rights, opportunities and respect to each and every person.
