Remembering Hadiya Masieh

Last week, the interfaith community lost a tireless advocate and our WIN family lost a long-standing friend and ally - Hadiya Masieh, Founder of the Groundswell Project.

Hadiya had been a staunch supporter and friend to WIN over the years, amplifying our work, collaborating with us on events and sharing her story with us on our podcast.

With profound sadness and shock, we at Women’s Interfaith Network have learned of the tragic passing of our esteemed friend Hadiyah, who was a source of inspiration for all who knew her. Her unwavering dedication to safeguarding young individuals from radicalisation and her invaluable contributions to fostering a more inclusive and compassionate society will leave an indelible mark on our hearts.

Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but her legacy will continue to inspire and empower generations to come. In this profoundly difficult time, we extend our most heartfelt condolences to her family.
