WIN celebrates Refugee Week with Creating Ground

Earlier this month, our WIN community came together with our friends at Creating Ground for a belated Refugee Week celebration, reflecting on Creating Ground‘s 10th anniversary year theme of ‘Rooted and Rising‘. Creating Ground is a collaborative community organisation bringing together women from migrant backgrounds through the arts.

Over cups of tea, creative exercises and lots of laughter, we shared what heritage and belonging means to us, our hopes for the future, and how we hold on to courage despite the challenges facing both migrant and faith communities.
