Faiths Against Domestic Abuse Campaign

FADA was founded during lockdown in 2020 by WIN team member Tara Corry and former Faiths Forum for London team member Jeeves Rohilla, in response to the drastic rise in the calls to Refuge’s helpline, the UK’s largest domestic abuse service. After running a series of successful webinars on the issues of faith and domestic abuse, FADA founded the first national Faiths Against Domestic Abuse Awareness Week in 2020 and has run the awareness-raising week every year since then. In 2021 the campaign was awarded the Faith and Belief Community Award. FADA is now run by Jeeves and Tara, as an independent project, with WIN providing support as a partner organisation.
