The Walk

In April 2023, WIN had the special opportunity to partner with the world-renowned project The Walk and welcome their 12-foot puppet of a Syrian girl, Little Amal, to London to mark the festivals of Ramadan, Passover and Easter. WIN members were invited to present Amal with a lantern, co-designed by WIN and the Little Amal team, on behalf of London’s diverse faith communities and those without faith, affirming our common humanity in the face of hate and division. Little Amal travels the world raising awareness for the plight of refugee children, meeting communities, faith leaders and artists along the way.
